Welcome! This blog is Retired. However, you may still enjoy some of the finer pages of vintage online ramblings out there! Inspired by the certainty of my headaches, "The Headache Diaries" may include my headache log, people, places, and things that I don't like, as well as people, places, and things that I do like. Apparently, I started this blog on February 4, 2003. It's been a year and I didn't even know it. Pfft. I am so busy, I can even forget my birthday. Well, happy year to me.
I have a big complaint!: SOMEONE keeps backing up into my BIKE and making it stay in all these weird positions. HELLO! LEARN HOW TO DRIVE! The hell do they think this is anyway???
Hmm my birds look hungry. I better feed them and go to bed, huh? I can complain all I want tomorrow. Or today... oh whatever!

Oh yeah I forgot
Here are some cool earthquake links!
You have to check this out first. It's the USGS webpage to teach you how to hear and understand seismic sounds!
Then when you are done, listen to these recordings to test yourself. Make sure you listen to the "singing sands" because it's kind of spooky! (I wish I was there!!!!!)
Go here if you want some technical info then here for a fun glossary. Then go back to the USGS Earthquake Home Page to look for new and exciting things. (Not as exciting as this could be, but they won't take date requests ;) )
Ok folks, soon my "break" will be over and I can stop writing about personal issues and start getting technical again. This week will be full of errands and the like and unfortunately, I will not be taking my state board this Saturday, but perhaps next saturday. In any case, I have lots of books to buy and I must aquire another uniform because I only have one that I can wear for now and I am not sure if I am going to be able to wash it over and over... Tuesday is registration and I get to see what my schedule will look like. I also get to see which hospital I get placed in. I hope it's close by! Im kind of hoping it's Coney Island Hospital, but then again, who the hell wants to go there?
I also will have a new blog for my student nurse life. I hope it can be interesting. If anything I will just blog everything here. I don't know.
I looked up "Newtonian Backdrift" and it was not in my physics textbook. So I looked online and didn't find it there either. I did find some other interesting sites though. Here we see hangliding jargon. And don't miss Helicopter Tales, especially the "I want to be a pilot" story. FUBAR seemed to catch my attention and led me to this... eh?
(just as an aside, FUPA is funny, but a drink?? GROSS! :P)
Then I was talking online and was told about this. Neat huh? I would also like to go here and leave a teapot. Or two. :)
I keep dreaming of where I could be and it is very possible to come true. I like to leave the sliver of doubt open just so it seems more realistic. Ok now I am rambling. I need food. I guess I can eat soup? Let me check.

And Now for some wonderfully good irrelevant news! The health office had accpeted my papers and graciously handed me the PINK CLEARANCE LETTER! Yay me! Now all I have to do is wait for my insurance and Im ready to go. Im pretty excited.
As for Joe Buck, it is true that I think he is the best of all the announcers but to say that I watch baseball only for him is just, just, ridiculous! Anyway, I have also found a "alt. country" group that is named (after?) Joe Buck. I suggest you scroll down and listen to the sample music. They are quite good for a knock-off country group. As for other things related to Joe Buck, I had managed to find another quasi-famous Joe buck, hence named Joe Buck. This Joe buck wannabe was busy on a doctorate on Ptolemy. Neat-o! Another Joe Buck wannabe is also named Joe Buck, but has more in common with the real Joe Buck in that the kid plays basketball. Sports are sports... Ptolemy is just nerdy. Anyway, I think they should all change their names... well, except for the original Joe Buck.

WHEW!!
Hey hey! Look at me! I have oficially conpleted my CNA Training! All I have left is the state exam! WHEEE! Then it's time to make money and Arizona here I come!!!!
Okay let me tell you why I am excited: I did really well in my CNA school... I think I'm going to get Summa Cum Laude and the presidential award and the perfect attendence award! Hee Haw! Not only that, I will have a license for a really cool job that pays good and that I will actually enjoy (even if it does involve cleaning up doo doo, so?). I can finally be proud of myself, and be able to support myself from now on WITH EASE (key words). I have been waiting for this moment to come for a very, very long time. Can you imagine me finally having a real job and making real money and being able to pay for EVERYTHING I need without help from anyone.... YAY! And this can all be mine in a few weeks! I'm am so happy!!
Another thing I am excited about is that I am getting closer to starting nursing school and I can finally be at ease with myself. Why? Well, I think I finally entered a profession that I can be at one with. I think this is one of the few fields where I can use my brain and my hands. I'm digging it. I'm excited to get started. Lets go!
The only bad news is that I may need another blood test... Apparently the one that I took didn't give the titer numbers of the Varicella and Mumps in my blood. So, I am hoping that I can ask the lab to give me the range of the positive numbers (I'm positive) so they can have an idea of the titer so I don't have to pay another $255 to get another test. ugh! Let's just hope.
So this week I may have to catch up with friends and maybe go out and take some pictures and try to update my sorry ass webpage! I also have to go to the Nurse's orientation and get registered... then I have to practice for my state test. I hope all goes well. Im very happy. I rested alot this weekend too. I got plenty of sleep and I am taking it easy! WHEEE!
